Fearfully & Wonderfully Made

Is abortion the wrath of God realized in the reality of today, or is it the wrath of man for the unborn? After all, we each have our own perspective on this rather controversial subject. There is literally no one out in the world today who has absolutely no opinion on this subject, even if they were to defer it as a women’s subject for discussion. A non-opinion is an opinion! (A bad opinion, I might add, but it is an opinion!)

wrath_of_god

We have been fearfully and wonderfully made by the very hand of God who created each and every one of us. Whether you choose to believe this, or not. Each of us is created in such a way that we are similar, but we are unique in comparison. Yet, we are created in God’s image:

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. ~Genesis 1:27 NKJV

So, do we infer from this that God makes mistakes? No, not at all! Each of us is the way we are suppose to be, barring any decisions that we ourselves make during the course of our lives…which can be and tend to be the mistakes which we will generally blame on God. Also, we have numerous assaults upon our person while we are growing up, which can also mold our psyche as we mature & develop. Consider the transgenderism dilemma today, the gay issues, the man’s mind in a woman’s body, the “non-binary” and gender fluidity mentality, etc.

Those of us who believe in God, the One True God and Creator of all things, hold to the belief that Moses put forth in the Book of Genesis:

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.  ~Genesis 2:7 NKJV

And the words that King David put forth in order to explain to the reader of his Psalm or to clarify to himself:

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. ~Psalm 139:13-18 NKJV

And the words that described how God formed us by the Prophet Jeremiah:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” ~Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV

We were created for a specific purpose! What was that purpose? Good question, although it is a different answer for each person; however, we each have something in common and that is to glorify God! However, we are also given gifts by God in order to a great number of other things. Sing in order to entertain, play an instrument to entertain, the ability to act, the ability to teach or research in order to transpire information or educate others, and so much more…all to the end of glorifying God. Some are doctors and others are nurses. Some are policemen, others are firemen, and still others are EMTs as first responders in order to aid the public and each to the end result of glorifying God. God places at our fingertips a number of qualities in order to aid those around us, both to help them and to glorify God in the long run! Of course, with others it is a long road to find those specific traits and qualities in order to aid others and glorify God. Sometimes it is a short path and other times it is a very long arduous trek, but in the scheme of things it is all well worth it. Moses spoke of such things, at least inferred it in the Book of Exodus:

And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship ~Exodus 31:3 NKJV

We are each promised, in essence, that we will be given the wisdom, understanding, knowledge, or abilities of workmanship through the Spirit of God in order to carry our our abilities to Glorify God and aid those around us.

So as we move onward, to understand we are fearfully and wonderfully made which infers we have been created for a specific reason. Abortion, on the other hand, is simply, in my opinion, a vehicle for eradicating a perceived mistake. With the advent of removing God from our schools and society, prayer and blessings from our everyday actions and furthermore the destruction of the atomic family (the central core of the American dream, if you will) YOU steer man away from his very central purpose of pleasing and glorifying God and replacing such with the pleasing and feeding the new god of men, government and big business. Now your purpose is to consume (making business happy by buying and spending the money you do not have) and to work hard in order to pay your taxes (thereby, feeding the new god, government, with your money. This blog post, as many others are never meant or intended to be or get political. BUT they are intended to make you think about what you do…to please God or self? How you spend your time…for God or self?

We truly need to get back to focusing on God in our lives, spending our time pleasing and glorifying HIM and not ourselves. Teaching others to do the same. Steering our society into doing the very same in order to get us, as a society, community, and as a country, back on track in order to bring this country back to serving the God that formed it and ourselves, as well!

As Liz Wheeler mentioned in the video above, where will it end? There is some point in time, or so I hope and pray, where common sense will take hold in the minds of those at the helm. If not, perhaps you or I should become those leaders that refuse to actually lead, if it be God’s will. I tend to be of the mind that if we are to lead that God would place a passion, a desire, or a burden on our heart to do something…despite the fear that we have for doing so. The urge will become far stronger than the fear that is ever-present.

May God Richly Bless You, My Beloved!

Even God Gives Sarcasm When Necessary

“Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place, That you may take it to its territory, That you may know the paths to its home? Do you know it, because you were born then, Or because the number of your days is great? ~Job 38:19-Job 38:21 NKJV

sarcasm

Sarcasm is not original to you or I, but did not God prod even at Job in that time while chastising him? Since we tend to understand God and all of His glorious words in human terms (anthropomorphic) then God’s speech and chastisement can also, in a sense, be anthropomorphized. Consider what was written in the Reformation Study Bible commentary on Job 38:21:

Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? – This may either be a question, or it may be spoken ironically. According to the former mode of rendering it, it is the same as asking Job whether he had lived long enough to understand where the abode of light was, or whether he had an existence when it was created, and knew where its home was appointed. According to the latter mode, it is keen sarcasm. “Thou must know all this, for thou art so old. Thou hast had an opportunity of observing all this, for thou hast lived through all these changes, and observed all the works of God.” This latter method of interpreting it is adopted by Umbreit, Herder, Noyes, Rosenmuller, and Wemyss. The former, however, seems much better to accord with the connection, and with the dignity and character of the speaker. It is not desirable to represent God as speaking in the language of irony and sarcasm unless the rules of interpretation imperatively demand it.

Unfortunately, we as humans and the species of man do not throw out sarcasm sarcasm-freeor irony toward another in the chastising process in order to teach our underlings or peers a lesson; at least most of us do not. We normally do so in order to be wiseacres! We do so to demean and to make fun of what they did and to humiliate them. In such a process, we do not teach anything of value but how to humiliate another person. THAT is the message that comes across. I can look back at my time in the military and see how both myself and others did such things. Even at my present job, it is quite the same! Now-a-days, we each wear these badge of “sarcasm” and “irony” as badges of honor. As though we have gone through the Great War of Sarcasm & Irony and survived. But it is not such as a true veteran who had survived a war, we simply survived the war & battle of words that were thrust our way. Sounds much like the Snowflake Wars of recent battles held on college & university campuses by those who are harmed by words of free speech with which they tend to disagree and fight the good fight in order to stop such abuses of free spech on their college campus! [Yes, THAT drivel was sarcasm!]

However, even though you or I are being sarcastic, our point can be transmitted to the one we desire to make understand our opinion or our point. Well, God did so with Job in this particular point in Job’s life. It was both sarcastic and quite telling of that point which God was attempting to get across to Job. God was quite straight forward about the point, don’t you think? He asked, “Do you know it, because you were born then, Or because the number of your days is great?” No matter what we think we know as the species of man, we are quite finite in our understanding. Think about that…no matter how much I learn I always know that I don’t know everything! (Although, I do not admit this to my wife. lol) But looking at it all, we have a very finite understanding, in that, we know what we have learned in the past and what we are leaning now. Unfortunately, we don’t know everything to an absolute certitude! We do not have experiential knowledge of all things present, past and future. God on the other hand, has an all encompassing knowledge of what has happened, what is happening, and all that will happen.

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good. ~Proverbs 15:3 NKJV

Does God have eyes? No, because God is a spirit. But God created man’s eyes and we anthropomorphized the eye of man to God that we could understand such a thing, better. Is God able to be everywhere? He is a spirit, the bible says that God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, and the bible says that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow! So, why wouldn’t I believe that God can do all of these things? You do the reading, studying, and the research. What are the answers you come up with??? God makes sense where no sense can be made, in my humble opinion.

Consider this:

  • What exactly did Charles Darwin prove? Did he, in fact, prove that evolution was a fact? IMO no, he proved, theoretically, that it was possible…but did not prove so in a laboratory.
  • What did Einstein prove? Did he, in fact, prove that the speed of light was attainable? IMO, no, he proved theoretically that it was a possibility. As of yet, no one has proven such to be physically possible.
  • Has science proven that earth is millions, or billions, or years old? IMO, no, if you accept their assumptions which are part of their calculations in order for them to work…they have only proven, theoretically, that the earth may be that old.
  • Has science proven the creation of the first life on earth? No they haven’t. They have only posited proofs, postulated and theories but have not proven such creation in a laboratory.

Do not misunderstand me, I am not anti-science, nor are any of the Christian community. And Christianity does not teach anything of the such, God uses the sciences to much. Many of the sciences actually prove much of the bible (archeology, astronomy, anthropology, biology, geology, etc.) The problem is that many scientists tend to lean toward atheism and many people desire to push such an agenda where there is not God.

Sometimes I think that there is much sarcasm within the sciences, but that could be an entire blog on it’s own. Well, sorry that I was all over the place on this one…and that was not sarcastic! But an admission of guilt.

May God Richly Bless You, My Beloved!

Salt is Good

“Everyone will be salted with fire. “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other.”” ~Mark 9:49-50 NIV

Jesus-salt

WE, as Christians, are the salt for the lost souls within this world to help them find their way back to God, through Christ! We are their light just as Jesus is our light; much like the lighthouse is the aid to the ships of the sea, so they can find their way…we too are the exact same for the lost souls within this world of ours.

A Chinese girl said, “Salt makes you thirsty.” DO stop and think that over. “Ye are the salt of the earth.” Do YOU make anyone thirsty for Christ? You never will be merely separating from something. But you will be separating unto Christ. ~Expositions of Bible Doctrines Taking the Epistle to the Romans as a Point of Departure, Volume 1, page 16, by Donald Grey Barnhouse (emphasis mine)

This is precisely what we are to do, make people thirst for God’s life giving and eternal life word! We can do this through passion and desire, it can be done through will but not through sheer will, as we must be able to show a caring, love, and compassion in our message(s) toward those with whom we speak the message of Christ.

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. ~Colossians 4:2-4 NKJV

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. ~1 Peter 4:11 NKJV

We are, in essence, slaves to Christ. Like it, or not, it is by our choice. Why? (You ask) Well, we have chosen to believe (through reason, wisdom, research, study, etc.) that Christ truly is “…the way, the truth, and the life…”  We did not make this decision flippantly, nor without forethought, this decision was truly one of the greatest decisions in our lives. And without a doubt was the greatest decision that weighed on our minds and hearts! Are we promised to be wealthy? Have an easy life? Have a gorgeous wife? A husband that has the physique of Adonis? No, on all accounts. We are promised eternal life. We are promised trials and tribulations. We are promised rain and shine like everyone else. We are promised both good and adversity, just like everyone else, as well. So, why did we make such a decision? Because in all of the religions out there, one must be right and the others must be wrong. By reason and logic, this must be true. That religion or faith which is true deserves my allegiance!

Check out the Grids and Charts at CARM.org

This is the greatest reason why we, as Christians, must understand why we believe that which we believe. And not only must we understand why we believe what we believe, but what other faiths believe. It is at that point that we can have a discussion, thereby defending our position.

And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt. ~Leviticus 2:3 NKJV

Every time we speak to someone about Christ and the words of God toward another, we too must season with salt. We must flavor our words that are more palpable for others to digest. The words we speak are of God, but others must gain help in understanding them. That is the flavoring we give to other. Consider when Jesus was asked about why he spoke to the people in parables:

He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. ~Matthew 13:11-13 NKJV

This was the salt that Jesus added. You either got it or you did not. On the other hand, if you did not get it, did you seek to understand it? The salt is the flavoring that makes you desire or passionate for more and to understand. That is why we walk the earth, to be used as servants of the Most High God and Creator of All. We speak His words and help others understand. That is one of our purposes; the other purpose is to glorify our Creator in all we do!

May God Richly Bless You, My Beloved!

We Have Been Warned: A House Divided Cannot Stand!

Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and[e] mute man both spoke and saw. And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?” Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.” But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. ~Matthew 12:22-28 NKJV

house divided

Antifa, White Supremacy, Neo-Nazis, Black Lives Matter, KKK, etc. Each is bred from absolute hatred. It is very difficult to keep religious sentiment and politics separated. Even our Founding Fathers believed that our religion is what guided us in our daily lives. The House Divided answer from Jesus to the Pharisees was spot on in His day, as well as ours! Just look into the stories, and be honest…look at the background stories as well. As there are two sides to every story, problem, and fiasco. One side will shut down the other with name calling and character assassinations and will play the victim card. While the other side if-youre-explainingis defending themselves from a slanderous assertion without any proof, whatever; they have already lost the battle! There is a political mantra, of sorts: “If you’re explaining, you’re losing!” ~President Ronald Reagan

As it was said on many conservative radio shows this past week, it is not about the statues because most people have seen those statues throughout their lives and have not given them one thought before this movement! Much like Charles Barkley, according to the Chicago Sun Times article. People just seem to want to be wrapped up in all of this anger as though it will accomplish something constructive…which it will not. President Trump asked how many statues will come down, when will it stop?? Though he took much heat for saying this, wrongfully so in my opinion because this was a valid question! The Republican & Democratic parties are dividing the population. These special interest groups (KKK, White Supremacy, BLM, Antifa, LGTBQ, NRA, AFL-CIO, the government [state or federal], our representation in government, and the list goes on and on…) Each group has their own individual agenda. We as people are stuck in the middle…between the clowns and jokers…that just seemed to fit right here! lol

We as people, the species of man, must take all  the available information and think for ourselves. The problem is that we are led by the nose in our education not to think but follow. And if we do not follow as we were instructed to, then we are shamed into following. This is a page out of the NAZI propaganda play book, which many groups are using to get their way. And your representatives and all other sort of politicians are going to yield to the squeaky wheel (so-to-say). Because all those squeaky wheels vote, and if he/she bends to their will they are potential voters to place him/her back into the office from which they will retire and bilk them for the rest of their tax paying lives! [I try to stay away from politics in this blog, as much as possible, but there are times where I am forced to explain through example.]

So long as all Americans allow themselves to be divided over issued, as such, we will no longer be Americans as a whole! We will be black, white, yellow, red, brown, olive, and other variation colored skinned people who happen to reside within the confines of the country known as these United States of America. It is sad…very sad, but true to point! Until we put God first and truly come to terms with what truly matters as concerns for this country and truly concern ourselves with the needs of this country and not our wants…this country will fall!

The top reasons a country declines and falls from power:

  1. The citizenry to realize they can vote themselves emoluments from state coffers.
  2. The overstretching and reaching of the military in relation to the actual threats against the nation.
  3. The weakening of the monetary system.

[The synopsis of The Rise and Fall of the Great Powers by Paul Kennedy, as best as I can recall as it has been ten years or more since I last read it.]

Sadly, I suspect, this nation will fall, as all nations of power do, because most are too busy being distracted by the divisions in our midst as opposed to dealing with the actual problems at hand. All too many will attack your/our nature because the dividers want something for themselves. Whether they be politicians, a special interest group, or someone who believes they are entitled to your earnings so they can sit home and watch MacGyver re-runs. The sky is the limit as to who may be the actual problem…but most assuredly, you will see one aspect of the problem if you, and I, would simply look into the mirror! Put God First in your life and look to how you can help your neighbor. Is this not the teaching of Jesus?

But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”~Matthew 22:36-40 NKJV

THE ONLY way we can fix this nation in a political sense, in a racial sense, in a human sense, in a legal sense, and in an equality sense…is to rest our souls, our very livelihood on Jesus, following HIS ways and the mandates of HIS Father! We were once a thriving nation, which was a beacon of hope for all other nations. Yet, now, we have unfortunately become nothing more than a target and another Aristocratic & Authoritarian nation on the face of this earth. Is is too late to change our path? I do not believe we have gone beyond the point of no return, as of yet…but we are coming close!

You must remember that YOUR religion is but a guidance to you, the Bible is our manual for this life we live in. Just because we may accept a position in government, we do not check our beliefs and morals at the door! Those tenets are what guide us to make the right decisions we have been chosen to make for the good of this nation, for the good of our community, etc. By making the decision(s) we are guided to make, we are not forcing our religion upon anyone…as you had been placed in to the position in order to make the decision you made. The only way to unite a people is through faith in God. And through that faith we can unify in one common goal. Salvation is accomplished one lost soul at a time, and God’s desire is that all come to the knowledge of the truth!

Always keep in your mind and your heart: A House Divided Cannot Stand! And serve the ONE who desires all to be saved. Serve Him with all your heart and seek out all those potential opportunities to talk to others. We have a Christian Veterinarian who gives a leader statement, either people he serves bite at it or they do not. This is how he ministers to those he serves. Everyone has their own way of doing it.

May God Richly Bless You, My Beloved!

What If We Lived In A World Without Law & Order? (a continuation)

img_4124

In last week’s blog posting, I wrote on a lawless and chaotic world in which Islam could potentially, if not probably, become the world power and religion, as well as a political and military force placed upon this and every other country.

In a partial report on Shariah the Threat (a short course) (Full Report Here), much of what I read truly had reaffirmed all that I spoke of. Our laws are being used against us, our rights are being subverted and used against us, to the endgame of removal of all rights that we know of, both natural and gained.

Here is a partial transcript of that report, from the shorter version. The Plan to over take America, “The Muslim Brotherhood’s Strategic Plan“; a phased plan:

“Phase One: Phase of discreet and secret establishment of leadership.

“Phase Two: Phase of gradual appearance on the public scene and exercising and utilizing various public activities (It greatly succeeded in implementing this stage). It also succeeded in achieving a great deal of its important goals, such as infiltrating various sectors of the Government. Gaining religious institutions and embracing senior scholars. Gaining public support and sympathy. Establishing a shadow government (secret) within the Government.

“Phase Three: Escalation phase, prior to conflict and confrontation with the rulers, through utilizing mass media. Currently in progress.

“Phase Four: Open public confrontation with the Government through exercising the political pressure approach. It is aggressively implementing the above-mentioned approach. Training on the use of weapons domestically and overseas in anticipation of zero-hour. It has noticeable activities in this regard.

“Phase Five: Seizing power to establish their Islamic Nation under which all parties and Islamic groups are united.”

The Implementation of Shariah by the Muslim Brotherhood

• Expanding the Muslim presence by birth rate, immigration, and refusal to assimilate;

• Occupying and expanding domination of physical spaces;

• Ensuring the “Muslim Community” knows and follows MB doctrine;

• Controlling the language we use in describing the enemy;

• Ensuring we do not study their doctrine (shariah);

• Co-opting key leadership;

• Forcing compliance with shariah at local levels;

• Fighting all counterterrorism efforts;

• Subverting religious organizations;

• Employing lawfare – the offensive use of lawsuits and threats of lawsuits;

• Claiming victimization / demanding accommodations;

• Condemning “slander” against Islam;

• Subverting the U.S. education system, in particular, infiltrating and dominating U.S. Middle East studies programs;

• Demanding the right to practice shariah in segregated Muslim enclaves;

• Demanding recognition of shariah in non-Muslim spheres;

• Confronting and denouncing Western society, laws, and traditions; and

• Demanding that shariah replace Western law. Note that many of the foregoing techniques entail, in one way or another, influencing and neutralizing the American government at all levels.

Do you see what is happening? The utter possibilities and probabilities? Scary if you ask me! No different than that of the Nazi’s at their beginning, claiming victim status which garnered them support. No different than that of the gay community also claiming victim status and thereby spring boarding into special rights and class status. And now with the Transgender, Fluid Gender, and quasi-Gender people also claiming victim status. Each is an attack on God. Pastor John MacArthur spoke on this subject best, in my opinion:

Matt Slick who runs the CARM.ORG web-site, is a Christian Apologist and he did quite a bit of research on Islam. In his section on Islam ExaminedIslam GraphicIslam is one of the world’s fasted growing religions. But, is it a religion of peace, violence, or a little of both? Muhammad taught that there is one God, no Trinity, Jesus was not crucified and that good works are needed for salvation. The Quran is the Muslim’s holy book, and it contains a wide variety of topics. The Hadith are the deeds and sayings of Muhammad and are authoritative in the average Muslim’s life. They contain volumes of material, some of which is hard to believe. All in all, Islam is an important religion begun by Muhammad, 1,400 years ago. Some consider it a Christian heresy. Others consider it a new, false religion. But, for Muslims, it is the revelation of their God.

The French “Prophet” Nostradamus, it is purported and inferred, that he had prophesied the ISIS, Muslim and Islamic uprising. He, it is said, foretold of a great power coming out of the east. In the article “Did Nostradamus predict ISIS rise? 16th century warnings of terror reign and what’s NEXT” this is precisely what is suggested. Most Christians consider this but one person, a great leader. However, is it that big of a stretch to believe this foretelling is actually about an entire people who desire to wipe out all those who do not think or believe as they do? I don’t think it to be that great of a stretch.

Cal Thomas wrote in his article:

Suppose our enemies have invaded the United States through immigration for the express purpose of organizing themselves politically? Suppose they present themselves as benign and seek to register voters, becoming politically active in order to elect their people to office and change U.S. policy in the Middle East? What if their intentions are the eventual destruction of this nation through its democratic processes and the imposition of a theocratic state? Would that be enough to get our attention? ~”The threat among us” (Jewish World Review May 20, 2003)

It is funny how even 14 years later and the American people are still oblivious to the ramifications to such an overt attack on our society, our rights, and more importantly…OUR GOD! We truly are living in the end times, we are allowing foreign gods to enter into our land, and thereby allowing them to subjugate us. You can call it conspiracy theory, but as things have been going over the last20 plus years, I don’t think it is conspiracy, but historical fact in the making & unfolding! For lack of specific knowledge, read the following chapters of the bible: Exodus 20; Deuteronomy 5, 7, 13, 28; Jeremiah 2; the Book of Isaiah chapters 23 on; and others not listed here this was just a quick list. We have been warned of foreign gods throughout the bible, Old Testament & the New Testament.

circle-dotAs I have mentioned in a blog posting some time ago, the Islamic faith holds their lives being for their faith and that they are but a small portion of their overall life; their faith is the biggest part of their lives. Christians, on the other hand, their life is the biggest part of their lives and their faith is but a small part of their life. In the picture to the side. Christian’s hold God as being the dot and their life is the circle, the Muslim’s faith is the circle and the dot is their life. Big difference! Especially with respect to their mindset. Faith being far greater part of their lives, it is harder to defeat such a force because they are willing to yield their life and the lives of their family members for the cause of furthering Islam. Christians, on the other hand, will not go beyond what is convenient for them.

So, be careful in how you approach things. Is it out of convenience or specifically for God that you do things? The Apostle Paul told us:

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality. ~Colossians 3:23-25 NKJV

I honestly do not know if these two posts will open the eyes of anyone, raise the possible concerns at hand, or if anyone will consider doing anything other than saying, “Wow! That’s not good!” And then continue on with their day as though nothing happened. Because by the time you see it happening to you, loss of rights, loss & destruction of churches, bible burning parties, theft of property (but then again, the government is doing that right now!), weapons confiscation (non-Muslims cannot possess weapons), and the list goes on. Just read up on Mohammad and the rise of the Islamic religion. History is the best teacher; unfortunately, since we do not teach our children history, they are destined to repeat our historical mistakes! That is what is so sad!

Keith Ellison made history on Thursday, January 4th, 2008, by becoming the thomas-jefferson-quranfirst Muslim member of Congress and punctuating the occasion by taking a ceremonial oath with a Qur’an once owned by Thomas Jefferson.However, that Qur’an was purchased by Thomas Jefferson so that he could figure out their thought processes. Because our shipping was being disrupted by Muslim pirates and he needed to to put a stop to it. It was shortly thereafter that Jefferson dispatched the Marines to Tripoli in May of 1801. (refer to Victory in Tripoli: Lessons for the War on Terrorism by Joshua London) If YOU want to understand how a Muslim thinks and the thought processes of a person of the Islamic faith, you must read and study that which develops their mind…the Qur’an! Study their culture, etc.

I hope these two posts were helpful to you, Godspeed to you my friends! And again, do not take my word for it…read and study these things for yourselves and be informed!

May God Richly Bless You, My Beloved!

“You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people.”

You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people. ~Exodus 22:28 NKJV

Bible spine

How often have we complained about our government? Our leader(s)? I don’t know about you…but I have quite often.

God placed all those that rule over us in their places, according to the bible!

“You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above.” ~ John 19:11 NKJV

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. ~Romans 13:1 NKJV

Quite the slap in one’s proverbial face, eh?? One could say that bad rulers are put in place to chastise us and reap a judgement upon us. True or not…that is for God to decide. But, biblically, the bible does show a history of God using others to reap a judgement upon people. Whether it be through war, external or internal problems (political, civil disobedience, or through civil attacks.) The history of the world is wrought with such examples, equating those examples to acts of God is another argument.

Generally speaking, most everyone is patriotic toward their own country and have a certain amount of Nationalistic identity and love for their country. We each must assess our own love of country for ourselves. It would seem that, now-a-days, our youth are being taught a sense of globalist identity; which concerns me to a degree, although that would be more of a political debate and this is not the place for such. However, Jesus taught us to be more identified with our citizenship in heaven, as opposed to our country.

For our citizenship is in heaven ~Phillipians 3:20 NKJV

While this was blatantly written by the Apostle Paul, Jesus reminded us of this, “ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21 NKJV) and He did tell us

…for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. ~Matthew 5:12 NKJV

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. ~Matthew 5:16 NKJV

Subtle reminders that we are creatures created by God who resides in heaven and that one day we will return, bearing the inference that God is watching over us; hence our citizenship is heavenly! And since we know we will die (just not when) our earthly presence is temporal.

Which drives me back to the topic at hand. We are to do everything on this think_on_these_thingsearthly presence of ours to reflect God’s very image, which we have been created in. We are God’s representatives toward others we come in contact with on a daily basis. Jesus was sent not just to be the sacrificial lamb, in our place. But He was also our example of how to live and how to act in the presence of others. Showing others such things as love, compassion, faith, hope, noble, just, pure, virtue and praiseworthy, but we are to meditate on these things ourselves.

How are we to be better than if we were to think on such things? The only way to get better, let alone change our habits, we must first think on these things and work them into our minds and hearts. Delving into the biblical text, gaining deeper understanding will change us. And slowly moving back to the topic at hand, in a slow calculated fashion…

Now, back to the main premise of this blog. We should not be attacking and cursing our leaders, especially since they are placed there by God.

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. ~Romans 13:1 NKJV

God has ordained everyone in authority to be in their place. We must be God ordainedwilling to be subjected to chastisement by those even when we are in the right and they are in the wrong!

For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. ~1 Peter 3:17 NKJV

We must be humble under God’s rule! There are times when we must speak out concerning the evils of this world and those that would perpetrate them, there are times when we must fight against evil itself, and there are times when we must annihilate evil upon God’s command. Speaking on this moments ago, the Israelites do not realize what they have done, generations ago, when the did not follow God’s explicit commands to, “you shall utterly destroy them” Just look at all of the issues we are presently having these days! It is abhorrent and abominable! And yet, we as Christians cannot even agree on many of these things. Others proclaiming to be Christians, but by their actual proclamations prove otherwise. In that, those that proclaim we must be more accepting of homosexuals, pedophiles, and various other sins & sinfulness that are/is abhorrent to God. NO! We do not need to be more accepting of sin! We do need to be more accepting of those that seek, truly seek, God; accepting them and Reaganshowing them the word of God and the teachings.

Unfortunately, in this present snowflake revolution generation, and in the immortal words of President Reagan concerning his Democrat counterparts: “…It’s just that they know so much that isn’t so!” It is quite the same message for our Liberal Christian friends. We need to show them where they are wrong in doctrine, thought, biblical precepts, etc. Many of these kids are growing up in a lack luster household not being taught about God, after school enter college and if they knew God, generally speaking lose their faith by the end of college. They are born again agnostics or atheists. The percentages bear this out, in the 1980s it was 8% but by early 2000s had doubled to 16%. I could only imagine what the numbers bear out now-a-days…

And in the future, yes our future and yours, too; they will be the political leadership in charge of the creation of law. Many of which are derogatory to the the Constitutional protections that are now being ebbed away so flippantly.

I would urge you all to PRAY for each and every one of our representatives in Washington DC and in each and every individual state of the Union. Pray for each and every one of your local governing bodies, Police forces, Sheriffs, etc. They each need God’s guidance and protection that they each fulfill God’s Will! Now, while the bible is more so guiding one to not curse his leader, meaning his spiritual leader, I believe biblically it is prevalent that we not curse either, but pray for their guidance to follow and fulfill God’s Will!

May God Richly Bless You, My Beloved!

God’s Ten Commandments versus Jesus’ Two Commandments

What are the differences? How can the “supposed” Son of God change the commands of God? Or, did He change them??? Let us look into this, it has always been on my mind and have not researched or even sought an answer…

ten-commandments

So, it is agreed, for the sake of this discussion that God did give to Moses, His servant, the Ten Commandments for Israel to adhere to and follow all the days of their lives and they were first given in Exodus 20:1-17 NKJV.

greatestcommandment

And Jesus came along and gave us the Greatest Commandment in Matthew 22:36-40 NKJV, which is derived from Deuteronomy 6:1-3 NKJV.

Consider, for a moment or two, that there was a reason that Jesus simplified that which was already simple. How so, you might ask? Well, let’s take a good look:  The Jews were reminded that the Lord God lead them out of Egypt and the land of bondage.And the Sabbath was/is on a Saturday.

It is my contention that the Ten Commandments were, specifically geared toward the Jewish people, the very chosen people of God, Himself! Whereas, the modified Greatest Commandment was aimed toward the Jews but moreso in preparation for the Gentiles to adopted into the family of God.

As Christians, or sons and daughters who are adopted into the family of God (adoptive Jews, so to say) we were not lead from Egypt, we celebrate the Lord’s day on Sunday as it was the day upon which Jesus rose from the dead. Also, under the laws work was very specifically defined, such as walking beyond straight from one’s home to the synagogue was considered labor and other things as such. Jesus called out the Sanhedrin and Pharisees on such hypocrisies.

The Lord gave the Jews the land of milk and honey, i.e. Israel. While all of this world is the Lord’s, and everything therein…the land we live on was not given to us as the land (nation of Israel) was given to the Jews. While we can debate upon this matter, to a certain extent, we have not had to battle to maintain our land in our possessions as the Jewish people continue to do.

As I do think it a moot point that Jesus made the Lord simplified the Commandments which we are to live by, in that you either love God or you do not. Can we agree on that point, at least?

Let’s look at the Greatest Commandment which Jesus simplified for us:

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”~Matthew 22:36-40 NKJV

  • First of all, Jesus stated that “You shall love the Lord“, which makes these two commands individualistic and personal. Meaning they are demanded of each and every one of us who follow the Christ. No if’s, and’s, or but’s. We are to do so by choice, not by force
    • We are to love Him “with all our heart“, which means we are to be sincere in our love toward God. After all, God can see our hearts and therefore love is the first and great thing that we should devote to him.
    • We are to love Him “with all our soul“, which means the soul must be engaged for him, and all things carried out toward and for Him and for His glory.
    • We are to love Him “with all our mind“, which means God gave us a mind with which to think things out and to reason with. That said, we must glorify God with our power of thought and reason. We must use our minds to learn all we can of God and to pass that on towards others; thereby, to mentor and disciple others.
    • To love God as the One True and Only God and Creator of all, is the greatest test of all. After all, do you truly believe such a thing? And do you truly show your love toward God? Only you can answer such a question and you know that God can see your heart.
    • You love the Lord God when you honor Him, when you hold Him in the highest esteem because you know & believe that He created you and placed the breath of life in your nostrils. You honor God when you place nothing else before yourself in order to worship or love as your creator.
    • If you honor God daily, is there a necessity to have a special day? Good question, and each of us will have an opinion on such a subject. However, it cannot hurt to honor God on Sundays, despite your honoring Him everyday. Every day which you wake and rise with the breath of life in you…is, after all, a day of the Lord…is it not??

Some people make each concept (heart, soul, & mind) to denote one and the same thing, to love him with all our powers; others differentiate each term; the heart, soul, and mind, are the will, affections, and understanding. Our love of God must be a sincere love, and not in word and tongue only, as theirs is who say they love him, but their hearts are not with him. In my opinion, the Lord Jesus inferred that each term should be understood on their own merit(s) and as the sum of their merit(s), together. It is always wise to look at them from every angle possible, as God did grant us a mind to reason with.

  • Secondly, Jesus commanded us to …love your neighbor as yourself.” Sound familiar? It ought to, that pesky Golden Rule that we were taught as children. To love one’s neighbor as one’s self we need to follow last five of the ten commandments:
    • Honoring our parents, while not our neighbors but they are those over us who are commanded to rear us up in the word of God and teach us all His ways. We are instructed to hold those in high regard who are our elders.
    • Murder, adultery, stealing, false witnessing, and coveting – these each affect those around us, our neighbors, friends, etc. We would not appreciate any of these things happening to us; therefore, we are not to treat others so heinously! Our civil society is based upon these things; in fact, our laws are based upon these things. You honor and glorify God when you love your neighbor as yourself.

Is one set of commandments any better than the other? No, I don’t think so. But the commandments from Jesus were the true cumulative effect of all the Old Testament Laws and words of the prophets brought together in one paragraph.

I hope you found this interesting and helpful. My prayer is that we all can affect change in society through our changes toward how we treat our neighbors. Godspeed to you all!

May God Richly Bless You, My Beloved!
